George Busby

George BusbyGeorge Busby has a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Harvard, and became Assistant Director of the Harvard Chemical Laboratories while he was still a graduate student. From 1976 to 1997, George was Laboratory Director, Senior Departmental Administrator and Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry at Rice University, and from 1997 to 1998 he was Executive Director, Administration, at Eisai Research Institute in Andover, Massachusetts. In 1999 George became the Director of Administration of the Bauer Center for Genomics Research, and he is now Director of Administration of the Center for Systems Biology, and Director of Operations of the Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology.
